An unlikely introduction

A pear and two kinds of pepper are unusual companions. Add red cowberry and the encounter becomes the subject of a new experiment.

That experiment was bottled as Distill No. 5, a pear-and-berry pepper infusion created by Spirits’ Gardens.

Four uncommon characters

Four ingredients, each carrying its own character: wild pear, red cowberry, jalapeño and red chilli. Together they formed the Pear & Berry Pepper Infusion — Distill No. 5.

The label names them plainly. In this chronicle each is given a plate of its own, arranged as an illustrated field index.

On the label

The label names the release plainly: Distill No. 5, Pear & Berry Pepper Infusion.

It is bottled at forty per cent alcohol by volume, in a five-hundred-millilitre bottle.

One chapter of many

Spirits’ Gardens began in Armenia in 2018. Distill No. 5 is one chapter in its collection of releases and experiments.
